Will it have the same storing capacity as the floppy disks?

No, you can order the file chooser attachment ($50 more) and it would be like having thousands of floppy disks, all you have to do is press a button and change from folder (floppy) to folder (floppy).

The compability exam starts with a simple question. If you insert one of the floppy disks your machine uses in a Windows OS computer, can you read the information contained? If the answer is yes, then the USB reader converter works for your machine.

The floppy drive makes up the sole means that of providing directions & info to the machines operating with ancient disk system.
